## Data Privacy/Mobility Attorney

Varnum LLP is looking to add an experienced attorney to its Data and Privacy Mobility Practice Team. This position is open to both remote and in-office candidates, based in one of its Michigan offices.

**Qualifications:**

- 10+ years of legal practice experience
- Strong regulatory and/or litigation skills
- Expertise and passion for data privacy and emerging transportation technology
- Knowledge of domestic and international data privacy regulations
- Experience in drafting and reviewing data protection impact assessments, privacy policies and product-specific privacy notices
- Experience in assisting with the implementation of policies and procedures for responding to consumer rights requests and data breaches
- Experience in reviewing vendor and customer contracts with a focus on security and data privacy issues
- Ability to advise mobility and technology providers on domestic and international data privacy laws and regulations
- Excellent academic credentials
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of responsiveness
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Outstanding client service skills
- Current or pending CIPP certification preferred
- Admission to the Michigan bar is preferred, but not required

**Compensation:**
