A law firm is seeking an Executive Compensation And Employee Benefits Associate Attorney with the following qualifications:

Job Overview:

  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on executive compensation and employee benefits matters.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating executive compensation agreements, equity incentive plans, and other related documents.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and clients to develop and implement effective strategies to address regulatory compliance issues.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on executive compensation and employee benefits laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of executive compensation and employee benefits plans.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including plan documents, summary plan descriptions, and participant communications.
  • Provide support in due diligence reviews and transactions involving executive compensation and employee benefits matters.
  • Assist in representing clients in administrative proceedings and audits before government agencies.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits law.
  • Broad-based experience in executive compensation and employee benefits matters.
  • Self-motivated and personable team player with outstanding academic and professional credentials.
  • Admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the District of Columbia Bar.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
