Summary:

Goldman Sachs is seeking a highly qualified and experienced attorney to join their dynamic Legal team as a FICC Attorney, Vice President. This position is based in New York, New York and offers a competitive salary range of $170,000-$270,000, with the potential for a discretionary bonus. The FICC Legal team at Goldman Sachs is responsible for providing legal coverage related to the trading and documentation of OTC derivatives, hedging transactions, and structured financings. In addition, the team also analyzes regulations and advocates for industry groups on global regulatory changes affecting derivatives and other fixed income products. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse team and provide support for all of Goldman Sachs' trading, capital raising, and other activities in the Global Banking & Markets franchise.

Responsibilities for this role include developing legal strategy and standards for documentation and execution of OTC swap and financing transactions, reviewing M&A and financing documents, analyzing regulatory compliance, and participating in industry group meetings and advocacy efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of derivatives, financing, and regulatory matters, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. They must also be able to work well under pressure and present to senior stakeholders.
