A law firm in Orange, CA, is actively seeking a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking depositions, making appearances at the WCAB, assuming responsibility for cases at all levels of complexity, communicating with clients, developing efficient case resolution strategies, negotiating and settling cases, drafting pleadings and reports, and handling all aspects of workers' compensation litigation. A valid CA Bar License is required, and 2+ years of workers' compensation experience is preferred.

 

Duties:

  • Take depositions and make appearances at the WCAB.
  • Assume responsibility for cases at all levels of complexity.
  • Communicate with clients.
  • Develop strategies leading to the efficient resolution of cases.
  • Negotiate and settle cases-in-chief as well as liens.
  • Draft pleadings and reports.
  • Handle all aspects of workers' compensation litigation.

 

Requirements:

  • Valid CA Bar License.
  • 2+ years of workers' compensation experience preferred.
