JOB DESCRIPTION

The Employment Associate will serve as an integral part of the Employment team, providing legal services in all aspects of employment and labor law. This position involves the representation of employers in a broad range of employment matters, including:

• Advising employers on day-to-day employment issues.
• Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, severance agreements, and other employment documents.
• Representing employers in administrative proceedings before state and federal agencies.
• Defending employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and other employment-related matters.
• Counseling employers on compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
• Conducting internal investigations into workplace complaints.
• Assisting with the development and implementation of employment policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will have excellent academic credentials, strong analytical and writing skills, and a minimum of four years of experience practicing employment and labor law. The ideal candidate will have experience representing employers in litigation in both state and federal courts.
