## Associate Attorney Job Description

O’Hagan Meyer, a nationally-recognized law firm, is seeking an experienced associate attorney to join their Hermosa Beach, California practice group. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a general litigation firm, and be able to work in-office at least 3 days a week.

**Responsibilities:**

- Represent clients in court
- Depose witnesses, including expert witnesses
- Prepare cases for trial and assist at trial
- Defend challenging cases involving consumer claims, breach of contract claims, general negligence claims, and other tort claims
- Update clients through case reporting and telephone conferences
- Support client development and marketing efforts
- Develop legal skills through in-firm mentoring, in-house training sessions, and other professional development activities

**Qualifications:**

- Three or more years of litigation experience
- Bar admission in the State of California

- Organizational skills to manage a varied caseload
- Strong writing skills to communicate effectively to the court, clients, and opposing counsel

**Compensation:**

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. Associate attorneys are eligible for quarterly and year-end bonuses. O’Hagan Meyer offers extremely competitive compensation and benefits, including medical, dental, 401(k) matching, and bonus opportunities. Salary range: $115K to $190K per year.
