Job Overview: A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced and dedicated Attorney to join its personal injury practice. The firm is committed to providing expert legal representation and fighting for justice on behalf of individuals who have been wrongfully harmed. As part of a collaborative and supportive team, the Attorney will focus on maximizing recovery for clients while handling cases from intake through litigation, offering guidance and leadership to junior attorneys and support staff.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Client Intake & First Meeting:

  • Build trust and demonstrate compassion with clients.
  • Document facts related to liability, damages, and coverage.
  • Identify necessary actions for effective case posture.

• Investigation:

  • Lead investigative efforts to strengthen cases for trial.
  • Assess insurance coverage and gather critical evidence.

• Negotiation:

  • Prepare cases for trial while determining Full Settlement Value.
  • Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with adjusters.
  • Negotiate aggressively and strategically on behalf of clients.

• Litigation:

  • Prepare pleadings and discovery documents.
  • Strategize and implement trial, mediation, or arbitration preparations.
  • File suits when necessary and guide clients through litigation.

• General Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve correspondence and documentation prepared by team members.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely case progress.

Requirements:

• Strong negotiation and settlement skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to handle complex legal issues.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in Oklahoma.

Skills:

• Proficient in case management software and legal research tools.
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
• Ability to handle a high caseload with efficiency and precision.
