Cooley, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Resource Attorney for their Private Companies practice group. This position will be based in San Diego and offers a competitive salary range of $220,000 to $350,000 per year.

As a resource attorney, you will be responsible for supporting the practicing attorneys in the Private Companies, Life Sciences Regulatory, and Digital Health practices. You will work closely with the legal education team to develop trainings and educational content, as well as monitoring legal and regulatory developments in these areas.

Job Responsibilities:

- Drafting and managing templates and precedents for practice group use
- Developing educational content and trainings for the legal education team
- Coordinating with attorneys and other personnel to maintain and update practice resources
- Monitoring legal and regulatory developments and preparing summaries and alerts
- Contributing to thought leadership by developing content for Cooley publications and other external resources
- Assisting with individual attorney requests for templates and resources
- Participating in various resource, knowledge management, and practice innovation projects
- Other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications:

- Licensed attorney with 3-5 years of experience in a US corporate/transactional practice
- Strong drafting skills and experience working with larger, later stage private companies
- Background or interest in life sciences and/or digital health preferred
