Responsibilities:

- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of general commercial contracts to ensure the company's legal and financial protection
- Advise on legal risks and liabilities associated with contracts and transactions
- Conduct research and stay updated on laws and regulations that may impact the company
- Collaborate with management to develop effective defense strategies
- Manage and mitigate legal risks through the implementation of policies and procedures
- Maintain organized and up-to-date legal documents and records
- Assist with litigation matters and insured claims

Qualifications:

- Law degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New Jersey bar or ability to obtain in-house certification
- 3+ years of relevant legal experience at a law firm or in-house
- Experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements, particularly in the areas of purchase, sales, B2B, supply, reseller, distributor, services, and confidentiality agreements

Other Job Demands:

- Office-based work with potential for evening or weekend hours
- Ability to sit for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
