This position will handle a diverse workload, including government contracting and compliance matters, for our organization which focuses on creating resilient and inclusive communities across America. Key Responsibilities: - Review and negotiate government contracts, supporting documents, and regulations. - Provide advice and assistance related to government funding. - Oversee compliance in various areas, including government contracts and loan agreements. - Draft and negotiate contracts for LISC. - Handle general corporate matters and perform legal research. - Provide technical assistance to staff on legal issues. - Execute additional duties and projects as assigned by the General Counsel. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and law degree from accredited institutions. - Minimum three years of legal experience in government contracting or relevant field. - Familiarity with tax-exempt organization law and regulation preferred. - Strong interest in community development and impact investing. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Organizational abilities and independent work ethic. - Fluency with MS Office Suite. - Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. - Licensed to practice law in the United States. Compensation: - Competitive salary of $115,600 - $144,500 based on experience and location. - Excellent fringe benefits.
