A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Tech Transactions and Data Privacy (Incident Response) Associate Attorney with significant litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing all elements of case work-up and trial preparation, with a preference for privacy litigation experience. This role involves immediate client interaction, working on sophisticated matters, and offering practical advice. Candidates should possess excellent academic credentials, significant knowledge of federal, state, and international privacy laws, and demonstrate superior writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of case work-up and trial preparation, including drafting briefs, complaints, pretrial motions, memoranda, and discovery requests.
• Handle privacy litigation matters, including incident response and compliance with federal, state, and international privacy laws.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed legal documents and strategies.
• Provide practical advice to clients on data privacy and technology transactions.
• Interact directly with clients, offering sophisticated legal solutions and guidance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and manage complex legal issues.
• Stay updated on current developments and changes in privacy laws and regulations.
• Represent clients in court and other legal proceedings as necessary.

Requirements:

• Significant litigation experience, including trial preparation and case management.
• Privacy litigation experience is preferred.
• Strong legal research and writing skills, including experience drafting legal documents and briefs.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and international privacy laws is a plus.
• Ability to offer practical legal advice and handle sophisticated matters.
• Excellent academic credentials and experience in a law firm or similar environment.
• Superior communication, writing, and problem-solving skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction (Georgia State Bar required).
