Law Firm Seeking Experienced Attorney for General Liability Practice Group in California

- Regular full-time position in California
- Opportunity to work in any of our four office locations: Irvine, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Walnut Creek
- Competitive salary range of $115,000 - $185,000 annually
- National renowned litigation law firm with expertise in toxic tort, complex product liability, local government, general liability, and commercial litigation
- Team-oriented approach to litigation with a focus on delivering optimal results at the best value

Responsibilities:

- Handle local and national accounts throughout California
- Manage a litigation caseload independently
- Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for deposition and trial
- Review and analyze discovery requests and respond accordingly
- Prepare court filings and service to counsel, including experience with e-filing
- Assist with trial preparation and support
- Maintain accurate time records

Candidate Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in product liability, transportation, aviation, or premises liability
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in California
- Experience with motion practice and depositions
- Ability to take the lead in plaintiff and expert depositions
- Capable of working independently and in an organized and efficient manner
- Superior research and writing skills
- Ability to multi-task and analyze complex matters
