The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience, specializing in wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions. They must demonstrate leadership skills, being comfortable leading scopes of work within a team and supervising junior attorneys. Superior academic credentials, a commitment to community engagement, and exceptional interpersonal skills are crucial. The candidate must hold an active Bar license or be committed to obtaining one promptly.

Duties:

• Collaborate primarily with attorneys in the energy and natural resources strategic business unit.
• Handle wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions.
• Lead scopes of work within a team and oversee junior attorneys.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide legal advice.
• Participate in negotiations and due diligence processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, preferably in renewable energy real estate.
• Experience with wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Active MO Bar license or commitment to obtaining one promptly.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong commitment to community involvement and environmental sustainability.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
