A law firm seeks an experienced Insurance Litigation Associate to join its Los Angeles office. This position is ideal for a candidate with 3 to 6 years of experience in litigation and insurance coverage analysis who is eager to work on complex legal matters within a dynamic team.

Duties:

  • Engage in various litigation activities, including taking depositions, attending court hearings, and drafting and arguing motions.
  • Analyze insurance coverage and prepare comprehensive coverage opinions, particularly concerning third-party property and general liability issues.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and produce high-quality written documents to support litigation efforts.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for complex insurance claims and litigation.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 to 6 years of relevant litigation experience.
  • Strong background in analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions.
  • Excellent research and writing skills, complemented by strong academic credentials.
  • Active admission to the California Bar.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California Bar in good standing.
