In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing legal strategies to support access for AbbVie products in the . You will also work cross-functionally with other departments to inform strategic initiatives and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop in-depth knowledge of AbbVie's business and keep up-to-date with changes in laws and government policies
- Advise Government Affairs and business clients on federal and state laws, regulations, and policies
- Collaborate with legal department managers and outside counsel to efficiently resolve complex legal matters
- Comply with AbbVie's policies and procedures
- Work cross-functionally to find solutions for business clients in line with the law and company's Code of Conduct

Qualifications:

- Law degree from an ABA accredited law school and in good standing with the state bar
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience practicing law, preferably in a law firm, government, trade association, or in-house
- Experience in legislative and/or regulatory policy issues in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is preferred
- In-house government or trade association experience is a plus

Additional Information:

- This position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k)
- Eligible for short-term and long-term incentive programs
- Salary range: $151,500 - $288,000
- Travel required: 5%
