# Tax Attorney
Robinson+Cole, a top-tier AmLaw 200 law firm, is looking to hire a senior associate or counsel level attorney to join the Tax + Exempt Organizations group. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of seven years of experience in the following areas:

## Qualifications
* Counseling a variety of exempt organizations, both private foundations and public charities, with respect to structure and formation, charitable gift planning, transactional matters, and unrelated business taxable income strategy and planning.
* Tax structuring and the formation of business entities, registration with tax and other regulatory agencies, and the drafting and revising of operating agreements and other governance documents.
* Serving as corporate counsel to nonprofit organization clients and representing exempt organization clients in matters before the Office of the Attorney General, the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Revenue Services, the Probate Courts, and other authorities.
* Advising on structure and tax-related issues associated with venture philanthropy collaborations, donor-advised funds, private foundations, and corporations.

## Requirements
The ideal candidate must have strong academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills, and large-firm or equivalent experience. All candidates must be admitted in the state of their primary office location.

## Salary Information
New York based candidates can expect to have a target base salary range of $235,000 to $245,000. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's class year, years of experience, skills, qualifications, and office location.
