The law firm of Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC is currently seeking an experienced Environmental Associate to join our team in Roseland, NJ. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a passion for environmental law and a desire to work with a diverse group of clients. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in regulatory, transactional, and litigation matters related to environmental law.

As an Environmental Associate, you will work closely with our Environmental Law Group to provide legal counsel and support to our clients. You will use your knowledge and experience to help clients navigate complex environmental regulations, advise on environmental due diligence, and represent clients in environmental litigation matters. This is a challenging and rewarding role that offers exposure to a wide range of environmental issues and the opportunity to work on high-profile cases with a team of experienced attorneys.

Responsibilities:

- Provide legal counsel and support to clients on environmental matters
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
- Advise clients on environmental regulations and compliance
- Represent clients in environmental litigation matters
- Assist with environmental due diligence for transactions
- Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to provide innovative solutions to clients
- Attend client meetings and participate in business development activities

Qualifications:

- 2-4 years of experience in regulatory, transactional, and litigation matters related to environmental law
- Admission to the New Jersey bar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Admission to another state bar and willingness to waive into the New Jersey bar (if applicable)
