A law firm in Saint Louis, MO, is searching for a highly skilled Renewable Energy Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its energy and natural resources strategic business unit. The ideal candidate will collaborate primarily with attorneys in this unit, possessing at least 5 years of experience with expertise in wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions. They should demonstrate comfort in leading scopes of work within a team and managing and overseeing more junior attorneys. Exceptional academic credentials, a commitment to community service, and outstanding interpersonal skills are highly valued. The candidate must hold an active Bar license or commit to obtaining one promptly.

Duties:

• Collaborate primarily with attorneys in the energy and natural resources strategic business unit.
• Handle wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions.
• Lead scopes of work within a team and manage and oversee more junior attorneys.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide legal advice.
• Participate in negotiations and due diligence processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, focusing on renewable energy real estate.
• Experience with wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Active MO Bar license or commitment to obtaining one promptly.
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to community involvement and environmental stewardship.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active MO Bar license or commitment to obtaining one promptly.
