Key Accountabilities:

- Find creative solutions to business issues while also shielding the organization from unnecessary legal risks.
- Liaise with other relevant functions throughout the business, such as finance, purchasing, accounting, sales, and marketing.
- Anticipate and drive solutions and process improvements for legal and business issues.
- Partner with compliance, quality, and regulatory colleagues to ensure effective prevention, detection, and remediation of violations of law, regulations, and internal policies.
- Address commercial agreements, customer and supplier matters, service engagements, SOWs, including the drafting, review, negotiation, and interpretation of all manner of contracts and business agreements.
- Provide advice regarding customer and other commercial/business disputes.
- Offer mentorship and training on a range of legal, regulatory, and compliance matters including commercial antitrust, anti-bribery/FCPA, and data privacy, with some initial oversight.
- Counsel on matters related to marketing initiatives. Knowledge of healthcare related restrictions/requirements is a plus.
- Be a detailed, results focused, collaborative professional.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Healthcare, or related field.
- Juris Doctorate required and admission to a state Bar.
- 6+ years of commercial contracts and legal business experience.
- Combination of law firm and in-house experience a plus.
- Ability to translate legal theory into applied business success.
- Negotiation abilities and eye for business.
- Customer-centric and solutions-oriented approach in supporting both external and internal clients while protecting the best interest of the company.
- Experience developing, driving, and implementing legal solutions.
- Ability to deliver strong results with limited resources under tight deadlines and with a keen eye for accuracy.
- Occasional travel required.

Job Description:

In this role, you will work alongside a group of dedicated and hardworking professionals in the Customer Channels Group (CCG). You will find creative solutions to business issues while also shielding the organization from unnecessary legal risks. You will also have the opportunity to learn and grow in your role, and build links within the team and business. Your key accountabilities will include:

- Finding creative solutions to business issues while also shielding the organization from unnecessary legal risks.
- Liaising with other relevant functions throughout the business, such as finance, purchasing, accounting, sales, and marketing.
- Anticipating and driving solutions and process improvements for legal and business issues.
- Partnering with compliance, quality, and regulatory colleagues to ensure effective prevention, detection, and remediation of violations of law, regulations, and internal policies.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field, as well as a Juris Doctorate and admission to a state Bar. Additionally, you should have the ability to translate legal theory into applied business success, strong negotiation abilities, and an eye for business. A customer-centric and solutions-oriented approach is essential in supporting both external and internal clients while protecting the best interest of the company. Experience in developing, driving, and implementing legal solutions is also required, as well as the ability to deliver strong results with limited resources under tight deadlines and with a keen eye for accuracy. Occasional travel will be required for this position.
