Armstrong Teasdale LLP is seeking an experienced Financial and Real Estate Staff Attorney to join its Financial Services and Real Estate Group in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate should possess legal experience in transactional areas such as acquisition or sale documents, finance documents, and/or entity formation.

The Financial and Real Estate Staff Attorney will have an opportunity to learn from and work closely with highly experienced practitioners in a friendly, cooperative environment. This position offers an exciting chance to advance a career in transactional work.

Job Responsibilities:

Simultaneously handle the high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters at different stages of progression, from inception to conclusion
Possess strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills for communicating with attorneys and clients
Produce quality legal work and bill the required amounts of hours to ensure excellent client services
Manage business and generate business through group and individual efforts
Comply with the very highest ethical standards of the legal profession
Make decisions on client matters with little supervision
Demonstrate strong, professional communication, both written and orally to both internal and external clients
Actively delegate orders
Actively embrace learning new skills and mastering new technology and share with others
Work as a diligent member of client teams and begin to lead teams in matters
Influence the awareness and adoption of the Firm's values on a larger scale; influence the awareness and adoption of diversity and inclusion; demonstrate respect by providing solutions and support
Utilize support staff or junior associates to ensure client satisfaction

Job Requirements:


Licensed to practice law in good standing in one or more jurisdictions where the Firm conducts business; must maintain applicable license renewal and CLE requirements
1 year of experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm
2-8 years of experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm preferred
Ability to sit (or utilize a standing desk) for prolonged periods and work on a computer
Up to 10% travel
