Duties:

• Manage and expand a personal client portfolio in family law matters.
• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody, and support cases.
• Collaborate with partners and team members to improve firm performance and client service.
• Mentor and guide junior attorneys and legal staff to enhance professional development within the firm.
• Engage in business development efforts to grow the firm's family law practice.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in family law, with a proven ability to manage a substantial client base.
• Strong leadership and business development skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a team-driven environment.
• Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active bar membership in Virginia, in good standing.

Skills:

• Excellent negotiation and client communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities for guiding junior staff and attorneys.
• High level of organization and time management to handle a busy caseload.
