Ashurst Law Firm is seeking a highly qualified New York Derivatives Associate with 4-5 years of experience to join our Global Markets team in our New York office. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of derivatives transactions and gain experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

- Work in New York derivatives group on credit and other derivatives transactions, repos, securities lending and other structured credit and financing transactions and related regulatory advice
- Take primary responsibility for some secondary trading transactions in loans, claims (after training)
- Support global teams in providing . law advice

Requirements:

- At least 3-5 years' derivatives or debt capital markets experience gained within private practice or in-house
- Must be admitted to the New York Bar
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills
- Proactive, positive, and energetic approach with a commitment to providing excellent client service and building client relationships

Salary Information:

The salary for this position ranges from $225,000-$365,000.
