Law Firm Seeks Mid-to-Senior-Level Managed Care Litigation Associate for Global Commercial Disputes Practice

Reed Smith, a leading law firm with offices in multiple locations, is currently seeking a highly qualified Managed Care Litigation Associate to join our Litigation - Global Commercial Disputes department. This position is open to candidates with 3-7 years of experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration, particularly in the managed care or health care industry.

Responsibilities:
- Represent leading managed care companies in various legal matters, including litigation, class actions, compliance, regulatory work, false claims act cases, government programs, and governmental investigations
- Handle multiple cases and/or manage regulatory or compliance matters
- Serve as the point person on litigation and/or counseling, including coordinating with other associates and staff and acting as client contact
- Provide excellent legal counsel and representation to clients
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Draft legal documents and pleadings
- Attend court hearings and depositions

Qualifications:
- 3-7 years of law firm or relevant in-house experience
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong writing, research, analytical, and verbal communication skills
- Experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration
- Managed care or health care experience is required
- Significant case management and/or client counseling experience preferred
