Harter Secrest & Emery LLP is seeking an experienced Non-Profit/Corporate Attorney to join its health care, higher education, and human services practice group in either its Rochester or Buffalo offices. The ideal candidate will have at least three to seven years of experience in the following areas:

- Non-profit formation, regulation and compliance
- General corporate matters
- General contractual matters
- Taxation, particularly taxation of non-profit organizations
- General transactional experience (mergers, acquisitions, and affiliations)
- Regulatory, corporate and governance issues relating to health care organizations

The successful candidate should have a strong academic background and an excellent record of oral and written communication skills. Additionally, enthusiasm for client service and business development is essential. A New York State Bar license is required.
