Associate Bankruptcy Attorney The candidate will prepare and review motions for relief from stay for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13s, and objections to Chapter 13 plans. Chapter 11 experience and adversary matters experience is a plus. Responses to motions to value, oppositions to objections to claim, review and interpret all documents (legal & otherwise) deed of trusts, notes, assignments, property title, dockets, pleadings, etc. Respond to court notifications and inquiries received from clients, debtors and debtors' attorneys. Should have 3+ years of bankruptcy experience representing creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters. Should be admitted to practice and in good standing in North Carolina and all federal bankruptcy courts. Should be admitted to practice in other states are a plus. Experience in drafting pleadings, making court appearances, and case law research is needed. Must be able to proficiently handle appearances and all aspects of creditor representation with minimal or no supervision. Excellent leadership skills are needed. Excellent communication and organization abilities are required. A strong work ethic with the ability to balance and prioritize high volume workload is needed.
