Qualifications: - 4-6 years of related real estate experience - Excellent research, organizational, communication, presentation, and legal writing skills - Current ability to practice law in Maryland and/or the ability to sit for the Maryland bar (Virginia and DC bar recommended) - Experience in real estate litigation, zoning, and land use matters is a plus - Strong academic credentials and law journal or other scholarly publication participation preferred - Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other attorneys and staff in a team-oriented environment Responsibilities: - Negotiate and prepare commercial real estate transactions, including purchase/sale agreements and commercial leases. - Draft and review contracts and commercial loan and financing documents. - Form and draft operating agreements for real estate entities. - Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on real estate matters. - Conduct legal research and analysis. - Collaborate with other attorneys and staff in a team-oriented environment.
