Summary:

The Remote Employee Relations Partner role at Ryder is an essential position within the Human Resources (HR) department. This role is responsible for providing tactical and consistent Employee Relations consultation to Managers and Employees, resolving employee issues and conflicts, and conducting HR-related investigations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years of experience in HR compliance, HR generalist, or employee relations. This is a remote work opportunity, but candidates must live in the Southeast region.

Essential Functions:

- Oversee daily administration of reported concerns within ServiceNow and Navex systems.
- Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations, ensuring fair and timely processes.
- Provide guidance and interpretation of policies and procedures to minimize legal liability.
- Partner with Operational Management, Business HR, Labor Relations, and Legal Teams to find solutions to complex Employee Relations issues.
- Deliver high-quality HR support through performance management, compliance, and communication.
- Travel as needed to company sites within the supported region.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and employment legislation within the region.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to conduct sensitive investigations and identify violations of regulations and company policies.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to remain impartial during investigations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of multitasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational management, law, or equivalent major; or, additional four (4) years of required experience.
- Five (5) years or more of experience in HR compliance, HR generalist, or employee relations.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to travel 0%-10%.

Salary:

Salary for this position ranges from $60K to $70K and is determined based on internal equity, market data, applicant skills, and prior experience.
