As an associate attorney in our Workers' Compensation department, you will have the opportunity to defend third-party administrators, insurance carriers, and employers against employee claims. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced attorney to join our team and continue our success in this practice area. Qualifications To be considered for this position, you must have at least one (1) to seven (7) years of experience in Workers' Compensation defense. This includes experience appearing before various Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) venues throughout California. While not required, experience with the Workers’ Compensation Disability Rating Scale is preferred. Additionally, you must be admitted to the California Bar and have a strong knowledge of Workers' Compensation laws and regulations. Responsibilities As an associate attorney in our Workers' Compensation department, you will be responsible for all aspects of discovery and trial work. This includes defending against large exposure cases such as fibromyalgia, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, psych and stress claims, asbestos claims, and more. You will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative and supportive team of attorneys who have successfully defended against a variety of Workers' Compensation claims. Compensation and Benefits We offer competitive compensation, with a salary ranging from $120,000 to $175,000 per year. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401k with employer contribution.
