Job Overview: A law firm in Denver, CO, is seeking an Energy Regulatory/Corporate Associate Attorney with 4-5 years of energy transactional and/or regulatory litigation and compliance experience. The ideal candidate should have experience handling regulatory and compliance matters before the Texas Public Utility Commission and other state energy regulatory commissions, as well as matters before or involving the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) or other ISO/RTOs or organized power markets. This position requires the ability to advocate before state utility commissions and experience in power transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, power sales, and related matters. The candidate should have a strong academic record, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively in a team, superior judgment, and the capacity to manage multiple projects while articulating legal strategies and courses of action. An active Bar license in CO is a must.
