Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a heavy case load, handling all aspects of cases from inception to preparing files for demands
- Open and maintain new files, make initial client contact and regularly communicate with clients
- Fully investigate each case, gathering and analyzing intake information and relevant documents
- Verify insurance coverage and liability issues, and maintain contact with insurance company
- Schedule and calendar medical appointments for clients, explain procedures and related documentation
- Monitor case status, review medical records, and organize and maintain case files
- Work closely with demand writers to prepare files for demands

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in Workers Compensation
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent customer service, time management, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, associates, and vendors
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of medical and insurance terminology is a plus
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
- JD from an accredited university and admission to the Florida Bar
