- The Chamberlain Hrdlicka law firm is seeking a Trust & Estates Associate with 2-5 years of experience in sophisticated tax planning for high net worth individuals.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, as well as drafting estate planning documents.
- Prior experience with probate and trust and estate administration is preferred.
- The main focus of this role will be to assist with the creation and implementation of wealth preservation strategies, business succession planning, and family-office planning.
- Prior law firm private practice experience is required.
- A degree in accounting, CPA license, or . in Tax is strongly preferred, but not required depending on a particular candidate’s work experience.
- Excellent academic and employment credentials are a must.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the creation and implementation of wealth preservation strategies for high net worth individuals.
- Draft estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trusts, and irrevocable trusts such as intentionally defective grantor trusts.
- Prepare IRS Form 709 (United States Gift (and Generation-Skipping Transfer)) Tax Returns and IRS Form 706 Federal Estate Tax Returns.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and office staff in a team environment.
- Conduct thorough legal research and possess superior writing capabilities.
- Assist with probate and trust and estate administration as needed.

Qualifications:
