The ideal candidate will have and a strong background representing renewable energy clients with their real estate and land use needs in connection with project development and transactions (including diligence permits/approvals and title). This role will entail helping clients across the Southeast navigate land use regulations, state and local permitting, and the buying, selling, and financing of projects, with a focus on energy clients. **Job Summary:** Law Firm is looking for a Transactional Energy Associate to join their Energy and Environmental Practice Group in Atlanta, Georgia. The successful candidate will have and a strong background representing renewable energy clients with their real estate and land use needs in connection with project development and transactions. **Responsibilities:** - Assist clients across the Southeast with navigating land use regulations, state and local permitting, and the buying, selling, and financing of projects - Provide advice on project development and transactions (including diligence permits/approvals and title) - Represent renewable energy clients with their real estate and land use needs **Qualifications:** - 4-7 years of experience - State Bar of Georgia licensure - Ability to work a hybrid in office/remote schedule - Excellent understanding of land use regulations, state and local permitting, and the buying, selling, and financing of projects **Salary:** Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
