Pro Bono Manager - Increase Access to Justice for Low-Income Alabamians at Legal Services Alabama, Inc.

- Responsible for building and supporting innovative programming to increase access to justice for LSA's client communities and assist pro se litigants.
- Manage Private Attorney Involvement (PAI) programs and build volunteer lawyer pools.
- Recruit and supervise law students and volunteers.
- Coordinate with the five Volunteer Lawyer Programs (VLP) in Alabama.
- Develop an annual PAI plan.

Qualifications:

- Alabama Bar admission and five or more years of experience with a Legal Aid organization or related subject areas.

- Excellent communication skills and good judgment.
- Ability to train and supervise staff.
- Ability to set and meet deadlines.
- Bilingual candidates preferred.

Salary: $73,080 plus based upon experience

LSA is seeking a Pro Bono Manager to join their team in either Birmingham or Montgomery, Alabama.

Job Description:

- Build and support innovative programming to increase access to justice for LSA's client communities and assist pro se litigants.

- Ensure the creation and upkeep of appropriate informational and marketing materials about PAI opportunities.
- Close all PAI cases in a timely manner.
