Job Overview:
A law firm in Tulsa, OK, is seeking an experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join its dynamic civil litigation practice. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-stakes cases while providing top-tier legal services to clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil litigation, a deep understanding of civil procedures, and the ability to manage complex cases from inception through to trial.

Duties:

• Lead and manage civil litigation matters from start to finish
• Draft and respond to written discovery requests
• Take and defend depositions
• Prepare and argue motions, including handling hearings
• Develop trial strategies and assist with trial preparation
• Represent clients in court proceedings
• Supervise junior associates and provide mentorship when necessary
• Communicate with clients to ensure their needs are met
• Manage and prioritize multiple cases simultaneously

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil litigation
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Oklahoma
• Proficient in all aspects of civil litigation and civil procedure
• Proven track record in handling complex litigation cases
• Ability to manage large caseloads and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and client-focused approach

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Valid Oklahoma State Bar License

Skills:

• Expertise in civil litigation and procedure
• Strong legal research and writing abilities
• Ability to supervise and collaborate with team members
