A law firm in Seattle is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Labor and Employment Associate Attorney with the following qualifications:

Job Overview:

The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling labor and employment matters, including litigation and counseling, with opportunities for growth and development within the firm.

Duties:

• Handle labor and employment litigation matters.
• Provide counseling on employment law issues.
• Assist with class action cases, if applicable.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Participate in firm-wide Attorney Retreat and training programs.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree.
• Must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in Washington.
• Outstanding academic record preferred (Top 25% of law school class).
• 2+ years of employment litigation and/or employment law counseling experience.

Education:

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the Washington State Bar.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Experience in labor and employment law.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
