The House of Ruth Maryland Domestic Violence Legal Clinic is seeking a passionate and dedicated Staff Attorney to provide free legal services to survivors of intimate partner violence. This is an entry-level position that offers extensive training in Maryland's protective order statute, family law issues, and trial skills and technique. The Staff Attorney will work on-site at the Prince George's County courthouses, providing immediate legal intervention to clients and developing meaningful connections to courthouse personnel.

Responsibilities include providing high-quality, trauma-informed representation to survivors of intimate partner violence in protective order cases and related hearings, conducting comprehensive consultations, maintaining client databases, and other duties as assigned. The starting salary for this position is $70,000/year, and the organization offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
