# Mid-Level Associate, Insurance Defense - Kennedys Law Firm

## Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious lawyers to join a growing, competitive law firm with a diversified global practice. Candidates should have a strong litigation background and be licensed to practice in New York. Licensed to practice in New Jersey is a plus.

## Required Experience

- 2-5 years' defense litigation experience
- Ability to interact with clients, draft pleadings and discovery demands, conduct depositions, perform legal research and draft dispositive motions
- Excellent research, writing and communication skills
- Substantive familiarity with the rules and procedures of the New York Courts is a must
- Must be licensed to practice in New York
- Licensed to practice in New Jersey a plus

## Salary

The annualized salary range for this role is $120,000-$145,000. However, this is contingent upon level of experience, practice group, location and other job-related factors permitted by law.
