Law Firm Seeks Associate Attorney for Workers' Comp Department in Chicago

Evans & Dixon, a reputable law firm in Chicago, is seeking a motivated and driven associate attorney to join our workers' compensation department. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

H2: Take on Challenging Cases and Develop Your Legal Skills

- Manage cases from start to finish, including discovery and trial preparation
- Conduct depositions of claimants, witnesses, and medical experts
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts
- Stay up-to-date with changes in workers' compensation law
- Represent clients in litigation before the workers' compensation division
- Negotiate contract terms and argue in court on behalf of clients
- Interpret laws and regulations for individuals and businesses
- Provide support to existing and new clients

Requirements:

- Active license to practice law in Illinois or Indiana preferred
- Extensive knowledge of state and federal rules and regulations
- Ability to handle large caseloads and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
