Summary:

HeplerBroom LLC, a large defense firm located in Hammond, Indiana, is currently seeking a licensed Associate Attorney with 3 or more years of relevant litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance coverage and an interest in gaining experience in various practice areas. The Associate Attorney will have the opportunity to independently manage a caseload, attend court hearings, and assist with document review. Experience and Responsibilities:

- Licensed Associate Attorney with 3+ years of relevant litigation experience
- Experience in insurance coverage (preferred)
- Interested in gaining experience in various practice areas
- Independently manage a caseload from beginning to end
- Attend court hearings in multiple counties and courthouses
- Monitor case files and ensure deadlines are met
- Conduct research and analyze legal sources
- Assist with document review
- Deposition experience required

- Good standing with the Indiana bar, Illinois license preferred
- Strong organization and communication skills

- Strong research and analytical skills
- Deposition experience required
- Experience managing own caseload and handling all aspects of litigation
- Interest in litigating in various practice areas
