A law firm seeks an IP Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join its IP Litigation team in the Irvine office. This position is ideal for candidates with strong law school credentials and excellent writing skills, as well as experience in intellectual property litigation, particularly in patent matters.

Duties

• Assist in managing patent litigation cases and related legal matters
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and preparation
• Communicate with clients and external stakeholders
• Stay updated on developments in patent law and intellectual property issues

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in intellectual property litigation
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Top law school credentials
• Experience in patent litigation is preferred
• Must possess a proactive and team-oriented attitude

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field is a plus but not required

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction
