Job Title: Family Law Attorney
Job Overview:
A law firm located in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a skilled and motivated Family Law Attorney to join their growing team. This role provides an opportunity for professionals passionate about family law to manage a diverse caseload, including cases related to divorce, paternity, custody disputes, child support enforcement, adoptions, and other civil litigation matters. Duties:
- Manage and oversee a full caseload of family law cases from start to finish
- Advise clients on legal matters related to divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, and other family law issues
- Represent clients in court, negotiating settlements and advocating on their behalf
- Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and client communications
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure timely completion of casework
- Maintain clear, professional, and consistent communication with clients
- Stay updated on developments in family law to provide informed legal advice
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- Active and good-standing membership with the Arizona State Bar
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing family law
- Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently
- Strong understanding of family law principles and practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications:
- Active membership in good standing with the Arizona State Bar
