Job Overview:

Duties:

• Advise businesses on corporate and commercial legal matters, ensuring clear and strategic guidance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including operating agreements, service agreements, and M&A documents.
• Guide clients through business formations, restructurings, and corporate governance.
• Translate complex legal concepts into actionable recommendations for business owners.
• Identify legal risks and opportunities beyond the immediate issue at hand.
• Maintain a billable target of approximately 1,100 hours per year.
• Manage workload with autonomy while collaborating with the firm as needed.

Requirements:

• Active California Bar License.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate law.
• Strong analytical skills with a meticulous approach to legal matters.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to build client relationships and contribute to firm growth.
• Ability to work independently while being an effective team player.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must hold an active California Bar License.
