The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional research writing skills and a keen interest in litigation while working collaboratively within a team setting. An active Bar license in the state is necessary, with a preference for candidates currently practicing in the Washington, . metropolitan area and admitted to practice in Virginia or Maryland.

Job Duties:

• Manage matters related to federal government contracts, including contract compliance counseling.
• Handle bid protests, claims litigation, and investigations under the False Claims Act.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft compelling legal documents.
• Collaborate effectively within a legal team on case strategies and proceedings.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in federal government contract matters.
• Experience in federal government contracts, bid protests, claims litigation, and False Claims Act investigations.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar license in the state.
• Preferably admitted to practice in Virginia or Maryland, with practice experience in the Washington, . metropolitan area.

Skills:

• Strong research and writing skills for legal documentation.
• Demonstrated interest and experience in litigation.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a legal team.
