## Law Firm Associate (Clearance & Prosecution)

Law Firm is one of the top teams in the country, and is currently seeking an Associate with at least with clearance, prosecution, and enforcement. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge trademark issues for name-brand clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing . and international trademark portfolios with specific experience in . and international trademark clearance, prosecution, and investigations.

**Job Description**

The Associate will be responsible for:

* Performing trademark clearance searches and preparing clearance opinions
* Preparing and filing trademark applications, both . and foreign
* Providing counsel on trademark prosecution, enforcement and litigation matters
* Conducting trademark availability searches
* Drafting and prosecuting trademark applications
* Assisting in trademark opposition, cancellation, and concurrent use proceedings
* Counseling clients on trademark selection, use, and protection
* Collaborating with attorneys and staff on other matters as needed

**Qualifications**

* JD degree from an accredited law school
* Admitted to practice in at least one state
* with clearance, prosecution, and enforcement
* Strong academic credentials
* Excellent legal writing and critical thinking skills
* Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented

**Preferred Office Locations**

Preferred office locations include San Francisco, New York, or Washington DC. Other office base locations include: Atlanta, Denver, Los Angeles, Silicon Valley (Menlo Park), Walnut Creek, Seattle, or the option to work remotely based in approved states.

**Salary**

Salary range: $240,000 – $305,000
