Law Firm Seeks Sr. Associate Attorney for Real Estate Litigation Position - $100,000-$150,000 Salary H1: Join Our Team as a Sr. Associate Attorney for Real Estate Litigation H2: Seeking Experienced Attorney for Real Estate Litigation Position Law firm, located in Illinois, is seeking a Sr. Associate Attorney to join their growing team. This position will focus on real estate litigation involving residential and commercial foreclosures, title curative actions, and other real estate and financial services matters. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of commercial real estate and foreclosure litigation experience. This is a great opportunity for an experienced attorney to join a positive team environment and have autonomy to strategize on best outcomes for their cases. Responsibilities: - Manage case load of contested matters on behalf of residential and commercial mortgage lenders and investors - Appear in court and argue motions necessary to the successful completion of both routine and contested foreclosure, title disputes, and other litigated matters - Communicate regularly with clients for updates and case resolution - Analyze loan files, title reports, and other documents - Draft motions and prepare written discovery and responses - Assist in reviewing associates' work and collaborate on effective resolution strategies Qualifications: - . degree, licensed in Illinois and in good standing with the Illinois Bar - Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant litigation experience involving commercial and residential mortgage foreclosure, creditor rights, and civil litigation is preferred - Knowledge of Illinois Mortgage Foreclosure Law - Knowledge of Illinois Code of Civil Procedure and Supreme Court Rules Skills and Abilities: - Strong time management and prioritization skills - Excellent writing skills - Effective communication skills, both written and oral - Able to work independently or in a group/team setting - Maintains a high level of professionalism - Able to interact and communicate well with clients, staff, peers, and management of all levels Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: This is a normal office working environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Compensation: We offer a comprehensive compensation package, which includes a salary commensurate with experience and accomplishments. The salary range for this position is $100,000-$150,000.
