Travelers, a leading property casualty insurer, is seeking a Workers' Compensation Legal Assistant to join their team. This role offers a competitive salary range of $49,400 - $81,400 per year and comprehensive benefits. As a Legal Assistant, you will perform a variety of legal and administrative duties for assigned attorneys, utilizing your knowledge of legal concepts and processes.

H2: Responsibilities

- Compose legal documents such as pleadings, discovery, and correspondence.
- Review incoming mail and prioritize tasks for attorneys.
- Manage attorney calendars and input case information into the system.
- Coordinate with experts and witnesses for court appearances and depositions.
- Act as a liaison between clients, attorneys, and vendors.
- Assist with trial preparation and record billable time.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

H2: Qualifications

- Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 1+ years of legal assistant experience, preferably in insurance defense litigation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and case management systems.
- Knowledge of trial procedures and legal terminology.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently or in a team.
