Job Overview: The Civil Litigation Associate Attorney will handle a broad spectrum of cases, including contract disputes, personal injury claims, employment matters, and more. From inception to resolution, the attorney will conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, manage discovery, and represent clients in court.

Duties:

  • Handle a broad spectrum of cases, including contract disputes, personal injury claims, employment matters, and more.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and manage discovery.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings.
  • Take depositions and have experience in the courtroom.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
  • Demonstrated experience in civil litigation, preferably within a law firm setting.
  • Experience in the courtroom and taking depositions; trial experience is a plus.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills, with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written.
