A law firm in Los Angeles is seeking a Junior or Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney to join their health care litigation team. This role will involve representing sophisticated clients in the health care industry, providing clear and concise legal analysis, and developing a deep understanding of clients' business operations and strategic goals. The ideal candidate will provide practical and actionable legal advice, collaborate with colleagues specializing in various aspects of health care law, and handle complex litigation tasks. Candidates must be licensed in California and possess relevant litigation experience and a strong interest in health law.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in health care litigation matters, handling cases involving complex regulatory issues and sophisticated legal strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear, concise written legal analysis and advice.
• Develop a thorough understanding of clients' business operations, objectives, and strategic goals to offer tailored legal solutions.
• Provide creative, practical, and actionable legal advice, addressing clients' specific needs and concerns.
• Collaborate with team members specializing in fraud and abuse investigations, licensing and certification, and health care business transactions.
• Manage various litigation tasks, including brief writing, motion practice, discovery, e-discovery, arbitration, depositions, internal investigations, and subpoena responses.
• Assist in formulating and implementing litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Stay informed about developments in health law, regulatory changes, and industry trends to provide up-to-date advice.

Requirements:

• Litigation experience, with a focus on health care law and complex regulatory issues.
• Licensed to practice law in California.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise legal analysis.
• Proven experience in litigation tasks such as brief writing, motion practice, discovery, e-discovery, arbitration, depositions, and handling subpoena responses.
• Demonstrated interest in health law and complex regulatory regimes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and handle multiple priorities effectively.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.
