Katten, a global Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking a Staff Attorney to join its premier Corporate Department, working from its Dallas, Chicago, or New York offices. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who has at least 2 years of experience negotiating a variety of commercial and vendor contracts.

### Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

- At least two years of experience negotiating a variety of commercial and vendor contracts at a nationally or regionally recognized law firm, or in-house within a corporate legal or contracts department.
- In-depth familiarity with a broad variety of commercial contracts.
- Strong drafting and negotiating skills.
- The ability to speak with clients about their business objectives.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- A client-team focused work ethic.

### Salary

This opportunity can accommodate a reduced billable hours goal. The salary for this position is based on experience and other job-related factors as permitted by law.

New York Applicants: The estimated salary range for this role is $150,000-$215,000. Salary determinations are based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to experience/job history, class/graduation year, and practice area of the selected candidate.
