The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in family law and a strong commitment to providing exceptional legal counsel to clients navigating complex family matters. Duties

  • Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a variety of family law cases.
  • Represent clients in court hearings and legal proceedings as necessary.
  • Assist with the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce cases.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, other departments, and outside agencies to ensure seamless case management.
  • Develop case strategies by gathering information, conducting legal research, and providing guidance to clients for case preparation.
  • Manage client interviews and case meetings while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Efficiently delegate tasks to team members, maximizing the use of available resources, technology, and attorney expertise.
  • Contribute to achieving individual and firm-wide goals, maintaining a balance of independent work and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Active California Bar License.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Family Law.
  • In-depth knowledge of Family Law principles, court procedures, and legal strategies.
  • Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to think critically, perform legal research, and develop case strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience handling legal issues related to family law, and providing actionable legal advice.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, Armenian, or other languages is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the California Bar.
